Professional background
I specialise in data integration, governance and lifecycle management across regulatory technology and healthcare. Over nine years I have built deep expertise in implementing data strategies and technical solutions that hold up under scrutiny.
In data strategy and architecture I focus on comprehensive lifecycle management through effective data modelling and technical implementation — designing robust, business-aligned systems while building data-driven organisational capability.
My technical work spans requirements engineering, bridging business and technical teams, and software engineering for scalable data applications. As Technical Manager at HL7 Switzerland (FHIR-CH) I help drive healthcare data standardisation. As co-founder of BIRDBench Ltd I bring innovation into RegTech, and as an Eclipse contributor I build regulatory tooling in the open.

It's Benni — a French-German-Arab soul, currently in Basel.
Music is my jam, software my bread and butter, and writing a way of expression that has kept me company since my fifth year of high school. I started with drawing, painting and calligraphy, then moved on to poetry. Nowadays I write prosody and dial in once in a while.
